Bluestones was conceived by Peterhead based charity, Foundation Stone, and is directed by a team of volunteers living across North-east Scotland who are passionate about music.
In partnership with a range of organisations and individuals, Bluestones is designed to support and inspire young people to write and record original material.
The project aims to building on the unique musical heritage of the Buchan district and beyond, and offer students aged 14 - 25 the opportunity to work with professionals and develop their talents.
Foundation Stone is a contemporary church based in Peterhead that is committed to developing and helping people, and impacting the community in positive ways.
Its members include visual and performing artists, social workers, management and heritage professionals, and many others engaged in voluntary activity regionally and nationally.
