Peterhead Music & Rock School

Peterhead Music & Rock School is a privately owned music school that receives over 200 young people per week for personal music tuition. The School was formed in 2005, and offers private tuition and studio space for local and regional practitioners.

The School is owned and run by self-taught session musician, Dave Legg, who has played as a gigging musician for over 30 years and has attracted the support and commitment from local professionals and amateur musicians.

John Coletta

Mandolin player,Singer & songwriter with the Psycho Billy Band the "Humpff Family". After an residency on the STV program "The Funny Farm" He produced two albums, "Mothers" and "Fathers" and a live album "Hoo Haa", on the "Iona Gold" Record label. Now performing with the "John Coletta Band", John's most recent album "...this kind of love..." is available from "Iona Gold" as CD or Download (see johncoletta.com)

Andy Shanks

Award winning, internationally aclaimed songwriter from Angus Andy Shanks writes contemporary songs about life in Scotland and beyond. His songs are sung and been recorded by many other artists and even been published as poems.

Graphics & Web design

Bluestones graphic identity and web design is created by Philip Thompson of G-R-A Design.

Philip has created two custom font design for Bluestones - as well as creating the branding in close consultation with the Bluestones directors. The website will be developed over the coming year, accomodating 20 students musical activity and creative output.
